I must tell you, it's great to find a business that is so committed to creating a great experience for their customers. My family and I have come here over the years, and we always come here after church on Christmas Eve. We've always enjoyed the food, and recently I got to know the owner when he helped me make things right. After a visit that we had that wasn't quite to our liking. He went very far out of his way to make sure that our experience was top notch. I have celiac disease, so I'm very conscious of gluten-free food. I've always found what I need here on the menu! From their sushi, burgers, tacos and entrees, they've always been able to accommodate me with no problem! We found the venue to be very classy, and we're even thinking of using their event space next door for private party very soon. I will be bringing my family back here over and over again!
We recently hosted a private event at 86 West - Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party the "Night Before" my son's wedding. We booked the State Street Upstairs dinning room for 39 rehearsal dinner guests and All State Street for the Welcome Party (90 guests). It was huge success - Chicken Piccata, Fettuccine Bolognese and Pan-seared Bronzino were excellent! Later we had range of sliders, flatbreads and other small plate food plus open bar tab. The bride & groom - friends and family enjoyed a great night in Dtown to kick-off the Wedding Weekend ! Special thanks to the staff at 86 West an awesome event !
This establishment is very nice inside. The large bar is up front and centrally located with high top tables all around. At a glance it looked like a sushi bar in the back with more tables. My wife had filet mozzarella and an espresso martini and I had fish and chips. The food was delicious, and our server was very nice and attentive.
We usually go here once a week they’ve done so for many years. The menu is extensive the weight. Staff are very friendly acknowledge and it’s a very pretty place. Highly recommended. Bob is our favorite waiter. Very professional very friendly. Does a great job.pat Sanaghan
Nice clean event space for small office party. Food was good. Open bar was a hit, but slow food service. Food was delicious though and friendly staff.
Loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is relaxing. Not too loud not too soft. The dishes are great for the prices and there is so much to pick from!! They have outdoor seating as well! I had 86 Thai and it was SOOO good! My mom had sushi and my uncle had steak. We made a reservation and I Definitely recommend making one! My waitress was also super nice as well! We spoke to the owner or manager/not sure which/ and he was so welcoming and nice!! Definitely try this place out!

Really liked the food and the staff! We got the fish and shrimp tacos, and both of the tacos were delicious but I did like the shrimp tacos much more. The banana cheesecake was really good too! Recommend this place!
